Luxury Rattan was created with the aim of being the number one destination for outdoor rattan furniture in the UK. The website was launched in 2016 after the founder spent several years importing furniture directly to the UK and learning all there is to know about rattan.luxuryrattan.com
Luxury Rattan initially approached us in 2018 and were looking for a new website. Their current site was looking a bit dated, and didn’t quite reflect them as a brand. The site was currently built in Opencart, an open source e-commerce software. They asked that we kept the new site in this software as they had many integrations which they wanted to migrate over to the new site without too much disruption.
We began by mapping out user journeys, how people were navigating to different items and created a seamless user interface from homepage to product page. The site was then rebuilt in Opencart integrating the new designs. Once launched, the Conversion rate improved significantly, which then led into the client asking if we would look at a paid marketing strategy incorporating Google & Facebook advertising.
Luxury Rattans ambitions were to grow turnover x5 over a 24 month period. They wanted to do this utilising an online marketing strategy. Having trialled PPC and Facebook boosted posts previously with good results, they realised it was time to consult a full service agency to fully understand the customer journey, finding efficiencies in the current strategy that would ensure customers are matched with the right product at the right time.
By restructuring the Google account, analysing search query data and removing unnecessary spend, this allowed us to send relevant traffic which was ready to convert. The introduction of a complex facebook advertising funnel which was designed to prospect, an convert. Retargeting across both facebook and the GDN allowed to ensure we captured site visitors / cart abandoners.
