Tell us a bit about yourself and your background

I started my career 14 years (and a lot less wrinkles) ago, working in events. I worked at 2 Premier League football clubs in their events teams, and began to realise I was more interested in the marketing side of events than the actual running of them! And so in 2012 I landed my first agency role as Account Manager. Since then I've worked in 2 other agencies in similar roles, and absolutely LOVE my job.

When I'm not at work you’ll either find me walking my bulldog (and our office security guard) Barkley or wrestling a 9 month old.

Describe your job in 3 words

Busy. Satisfying. Organised.

Whats the coolest thing you’re working on right now?

A new brand for a glass company, we were onboarded right at the beginning of the process; From naming the company, branding + positioning, web design and build and then marketing. These are my favourite kind of projects, where the whole project is ours - and we can create something we can be really proud of.

What’s the project you’re most proud of?

Ryans Accountancy - they really allowed us to push the limits (for an accountancy firm) and the results have really spoken for themselves

Best thing about being a part of the Statuo team?

Being part of the Statuo team is ace because we do really good work, but effortlessly, and I love that.

Everyone comes in and does what they love, and we just so happen to be bloody good at it.

Worst thing about being a part of the Statuo team?

When someone brings up the 'Simulation Theory' We’re all a bunch of super anxious nerds and usually all end up having an existential crisis at 3pm on a Friday.

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?

Kim Kardashian. I’d just love to know what all that money and all those staff can help you achieve in a day. Currently I consider the day a success if everyone in the house is alive by bedtime.

Favourite podcast/book?

Favourite Book - To Kill a Mockingbird.

Favourite Podcast -  I genuinely don’t have a favourite - it depends on my latest obsession as to what podcasts I listen to (Black Holes / True Crime / Meditation)

Favourite ever quote?

'Think before you speak. Read before you think'
