I started my career 16 years ago working in sales and eventually ended up working for ao.com in the sales department. After realising I was more suited to the support side of things, I switched over to customer services and worked my way up to becoming a senior member with the customer service department. I have always had a keen interest in marketing and I trained myself on paid marketing, (predominantly Google Ads). This prompted my decision for a change of career and I moved over to Statuo as an Account Manager/Paid Executive 4 years ago. Since then, I have made my way up to General Manager, though I do still manage Google Ads accounts (what can I say? I’m addicted to it!)

Describe your job in 3 words

Interesting, collaborative, cool.

What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?

I think most of the projects I work on are cool so it's hard to pick, but I would say Strategising/ planning for a current client who is going to migrate over to a new site, as I will be able to increase the reach of the ads to Europe and test out new products.

What’s the project you’re most proud of?

Working with a client who was close to shutting down an arm of their business due to lack of sales/transactions, convincing them to update the site and then over the last 24 months, increasing the sales to a point where it’s becoming the most valuable part of their business.

Best thing about being a part of the Statuo team?

Being around cool people, who do cool things, that they are passionate about.

Worst thing about being a part of the Statuo team?

You get an Inferiority Complex.

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day? 

Elon Musk.
