Tell us a bit about yourself and your background

I left college in 2015 after completing my A-levels and had decided a good while prior to this that University wasn’t going to be for me. I started a marketing apprenticeship shortly after and have been working in SEO for over 6 years ever since. I’ve had several different roles, from Exec, to Account Manager to Specialist and enjoy the role now as much as I ever have.

Describe your job in 3 words

Search. Engine. Optimisation.

What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?

It’s hard to choose. We have a number of clients who are starting to see real growth which we want to accelerate during 2022, which is hugely exciting!

What’s the project you’re most proud of?

Probably iHeat. The traffic increase we have seen over the past 18 months has been incredible!

Best thing about being a part of the Statuo team?

The people. Everybody gets on with each other, which makes a huge difference! It’s not a chore to go to the office for a day's work.

Worst thing about being a part of the Statuo team?

People stealing my chair on a daily basis. And keyboard. And Mouse.

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day? (Anyone in the world)

Either Tiger Woods (in his prime) or any Newcastle player. I would just love to know what it feels like to pipe one 300+ yards straight down the middle of the fairway, or to play football in front of 52,000 people.

Favourite podcast/book?

Either the Brilliantly Dumb Show, or Athletico Mince. Both podcasts that I just have on repeat constantly, which is why I occasionally just burst out laughing at my desk.

Favourite ever quote?

You know when I played against Fulham. My Dad watched that game! - Santiago Munez.
