Ryan’s first partnered with us over five years ago for a full brand refresh and website build. Since then, the business has grown, opening a new office and evolving its culture and services. 

The Brief

While the original site served them well, it was time for an update. Something clearer, more user-friendly, and reflective of who Ryan’s are today. The brief was to design a website that feels professional yet approachable, showing Ryan’s as both a trusted business and a great place to work. The site needed to highlight the independent, modern culture of the company, while making it easy for users to navigate, find services, and engage through clear calls-to-action. Functionality was also a key priority, particularly around the blog, service pages, and mobile optimisation.

 

The Design

The new design was built around clarity, trust, and approachability. From the homepage, we stripped back jargon and created messaging that immediately tells visitors who Ryan’s are and what they do. Circles, a key part of the brand identity, were carried through but refined, used to frame team photos, reviews, and key icons in a way that feels polished and professional. To build trust, client reviews are featured prominently across the site, with a dedicated section on service pages. We also introduced content cards on the homepage to keep the site fresh, linking to the latest blogs, videos, and testimonials. This makes the site more dynamic and easier for the team to update. The navigation was simplified through a new mega menu, giving users clear access to services and industries without overwhelming them. Throughout the site, the design balances the professional with the personal, using real imagery of the team (shot by the very talented Mark Holland) and office to show off the new Ryans offices, and capture the staff and culture authentically. 

 

The Development

On the development side, the focus was functionality and user experience. A new service search feature was added, making it easy for visitors to find exactly what they’re looking for. Service pages were rebuilt as landing pages with enquiry forms placed at the top fold, reducing friction and improving lead generation. Accordion layouts were introduced for SEO content, allowing pages to remain clean while still providing depth for search visibility. The blog section was restructured to improve usability, ensuring articles are easier to find and more engaging. On mobile, we prioritised smooth navigation and clear CTAs, with quick-access buttons for calls, emails, or WhatsApp. Performance and SEO were carefully considered, with the layout optimised for readability, faster loading times, and stronger visibility in search. The end result is an up-to-date, professional website that reflects Ryan’s independent culture, builds trust with potential clients, and makes it effortless for visitors to find the information they need - or get in touch.
