iHeat

iHeat is one of the UK’s largest online boiler installation companies. On iHeat’s website you can order a boiler and have it delivered the next day. You can also choose from various payment options including 0% finance to spread the cost.

The Brief

iHeat had a mission to simplify the process of purchasing and installing a boiler. Their vision was to provide customers with a seamless website experience where they could answer a few straightforward questions about their home and receive an instant quote, followed by installation as soon as the next day.

 

The Website

The website had to appear simple to the customer, but was actually highly complex behind the scenes. An algorithm based on customer input determined boiler prices, and the website automatically located nearby installers to invite to the job. This was managed through an internal dashboard for iHeat staff to process and manage bookings.

The internal dashboard constantly evolves to suit iHeat's changing needs. It includes an algorithm that matches engineers to a job based on qualifications, distance, current capacity and past performance. An interface was developed to disable areas when over or near operational capacity.

 

Marketing

Having worked with iHeat since its inception 5 years ago, a multi channel approach was taken from the offset. Google Ads, SEO & Meta were the first channels we implemented and this has grown over the years and we now support iHeat across all online and offline channels. iHeat's PPC campaign saw a 71% increase in revenue year on year, along with a 20% boost in return on ad spend.
