The Brief
Regency came to us to discuss the idea of a new website, with some added functionality which was revolutionary within their industry. They wanted a website which targeted not only their customers (Trade) but also the end user. They wanted customers to fill in an online form, and have the system recommend the correct type of glass. The system would then push the customers enquiry to Regency's distributor network.
The Website
The website was built using Craft CMS with scaling in mind to allow large amounts of data (glasses, installers, users) to be accessed not only by the frontend user but Regency and its network. All this data is managed through a custom dashboard with different layers of permissions for each type of dashboard user. The full range of glass can be accessed by the frontend user through our custom multi-step form to find which they require, then a list of installers is provided from the backend based on the users location to provide the details of their enquiry and the requested glass. The installers can also be filtered based on the required type of service, and are listed based on distance from the user.
