Tee Club

The brief was to create a brand and website that would capture this dual focus: serious about golf, but with a welcoming, stylish atmosphere that appeals to both dedicated players and social golfers.

The Brief

Tee Club was founded by PGA professional Nick Holmes, who turned pro at 21 and has spent nearly a decade coaching at Trafford Golf Centre. Along with co-founder Tim, Nick wanted to create something Manchester didn’t yet have: a premium indoor golf venue where players could enjoy the game all year round, free from the limitations of the British weather. Opening in MediaCity in September 2025, Tee Club will feature state-of-the-art TrackMan technology, professional coaching, club fitting, and flexible memberships. More than just a practice facility, the space has been designed as a relaxed, social destination where golf can be played, skills developed, and friends brought together.

 

The Branding

The branding needed to reflect Tee Club’s unique position: high-end and golf-focused, while still relaxed and approachable. Unlike competitors that lean heavily into nightlife or novelty, Tee Club’s identity is built around the sport itself; coaching, technology, and improvement - presented within a modern lifestyle setting. We developed a clean, text-led logo with a subtle identifier to ensure longevity and adaptability across signage, digital platforms, staff uniforms, and venue interiors. The colour palette of whites, woods, and muted tones mirrors the venue’s design, creating a calm, premium feel. Photography and creative direction emphasise space, light, and connection - showcasing both the action of golf and the social side of the experience. The tone of voice was defined as relaxed and aspirational, cutting through with clarity. 

 

The Website

The website was designed to be simple, stylish, and conversion-focused. It needed to showcase the venue, highlight the premium technology, and make it easy for users to book bays, join memberships, or explore coaching options. As a startup, Tee club opted to use squarespace for the website, as it offered integrations with booking systems and payment gateways. The result is a cohesive brand and digital presence that positions Tee Club as the new standard for indoor golf in Manchester: serious about the sport, relaxed in atmosphere, and premium in execution.
